TC Thank You Card
The news about our charity project has finally reached the media. We have been contacted by CambodgeSoir – the french local newspaper. With our enthusiasm and our committent to help Cambodian people, they want to write an article about us. To help them better understand our charity group, we agreed to visit the commune where we launched our first project.
Just before the Khmer New Year, 6 members (Mr. Kien Sokhen, Mr. Sem Samnang, Mr. Yim Sakal, Mr. Plong Thangrak, Mr. Vorng Nimeth and Mr. Yoeun Kunthearak) of our technical team went to the site with a journalist from CambodgeSoir. We visited the places where our water wells were donated. The journalist interviewed our technical team members as well as the village chief on different aspects of our projects and their impacts on the lives of people in the commune.
We also visited the Friend Helps Friend club where we did our education project. There, we handed over to them some donations from the Cambodian Student Association of Japan. The materials consist of 168 of notebooks (160 pages), 332 pencils, 6 rubber erasers, 8 rulers and 1 phoukol. Mr. Sem Samnang of our technical team also brought a pack of water sanitation documents for them.
